Designing New Highland Cow Hats

My husband and I want to get a miniature Highland Cow SOOOOOOO BAD and we have recently planned a trip to meet them in Berkeley Springs, WV. To celebrate our adventure of meeting them I decided to make a Happy Highland Collection of highland cow decor, hats, stuffed animals and other locally made highland cow items. One of the first items that I designed was a new Allegheny Nesting Highland Cow Winter Hat. My friend Raven Volos knits these super warm and fluffy hats. I simply told her what colors and theme I was going for and she then provided me with yarn color samples and I picked the two I wanted and then we both agreed on a pompom for the top. Once she started making the hats I then worked with Calypso and Co in St.Mary’s, PA to design and make the custom leather tags for the hats. Once everything was made my husband attached the leather tags to the hats and they were done. These hats are the perfect neutral color and go with everything…and of course have the cutest highland cow engraved on the leather.
