Beavers in the PA Wilds

The other day my husband and I took our kids on a drive to find a new fishing spot. We ended up taking a back road that led to Twin Lakes and on that road found beaver damns and tons of trees that beavers had clearly been gnawing on. It was such a clear sign of LIFE within the Allegheny National Forest and led to a ton of discussions with my kids about animals that live in the forest.
