Welcoming mini pigs home to our pasture…

Welcome home Penny and Patty. Today we rescued two piglets from Remedies Rescue & Rehoming in Youngsville, PA. We absolutely love them. These are our first pigs so we have a lot to learn but are dedicated to bonding with them and to hopefully training them so that they are very sociable for visitors along the rails to trails.

Remedies Rescue and Rehoming is an animal rescue located in Warren, PA. They rescue and rehome a variety of animals including pigs, dogs, rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs and birds. Rescue fees are very reasonable and you can tell they truly care for the animals they are caring for. We are so happy that I looked up and saw the pig rescue at flyer at save a lot. Now we have our very own piglets and they are cute as can be!

If you are rescuing any animal it is important to do your research first, understand the breed, make sure you have the space for them and to be fully prepared. \
